In this episode, we talk to editor Daniel Johnson and producer Cherish Chen about the process for producing and editing trailers, tips and tricks of the trade, and try to answer the question: what makes a good trailer?
Daniel Johnson is currently an editor for a trailer house here in Los Angeles, and previously edited the VGHS Seasons 1 and 2 trailers and VGHS 3 Netflix trailer for RocketJump. Before she came to RocketJump as the producer for the Film School, Cherish Chen worked as a producer at another Los Angeles trailer house, having worked on such projects as the excellent Mad Max: Fury Road trailer.
